The following is an announcement made generally available as of today:

I’m pleased to announce that Swiftpage has entered into an agreement to sell the assets of Saleslogix to Infor.

Headquartered in New York, Infor is fundamentally changing the way information is published and consumed in the enterprise, helping 70,000 customers in more than 200 countries and territories improve operations, drive growth, and quickly adapt to changes in business demands. To learn more about Infor, please visit www.infor.com.

We are excited about this acquisition because of the clear fit of Saleslogix with Infor’s strategy. Saleslogix will complement Infor’s Marketing Management products and add strong sales and service functionality to Infor’s industry-focused CloudSuites. In addition, Saleslogix will integrate with Infor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Finance systems, giving Infor the opportunity to offer a comprehensive yet affordable CRM solution connecting the “front office” and “back office” for Infor customers.

Infor plans to make significant investments in Saleslogix, including increased scalability, refreshed user interface with Infor’s leading UX designs, and added industry-specific functionality that unifies front and back-office data and processes.

The Saleslogix team, including the Saleslogix leadership team, will join Infor when the acquisition is complete. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the next few weeks. Once the acquisition is complete, Saleslogix CRM will be renamed Infor CRM™.

Our partners are an essential part of our business and this transaction represents a huge opportunity to expand your Saleslogix business. We will work with each of you to ensure that the transition is successful. An initial information sharing partner call is scheduled for tomorrow, and a separate invitation will be circulated later. In the meantime please reach out to me or your sales team representative if you have any questions.

To learn more, please read the Swiftpage news release at social.swiftpage.com and the Infor news release at www.infor.com/news/ issued today.

Best regards

Bob Anderson, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Swiftpage International

If you wish to find out more about Infor a similar announcement is available on their site.

What is very important to note from the above is that Swiftpage is a single company and are retaining the ACT! brand. Hence the use of the word Assets. We are lead to believe this includes all the staff, developers and product.

Should you have any specific questions, in regard to your system, please do not hesitate to contact either mike.spragg@empath-e.com or adam.travers@empath-e.com and we will do our best to answer your questions as Saleslogix transitions to a new owner. Please note, however, that this is still very early on in this process and information is limited currently.
