01-05-2009 — Saleslogix 6.2 Officially Retires!

Version 6.2 officially retired as of May 2009. All users are encouraged to upgrade to v7.2 or v7.5 as appropriate. No further hot-fixes or service packs will be released.

Customers who are currently running v6.2, have an active support contract, and wish to upgrade should speak to us in order to facilitate an upgrade to v7.5. Please Note: Despite the above – empath-e are pleased to continue support for customers currently on this release and will continue to do so using reasonable endeavours, subject to the above provisions.


02-10-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 13 Addresses an issue with Oracle and Currency columns.

18-09-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 12 Addresses an issue in the Saleslogix client whereby Outlook will close if Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is switched to Always On.

20-10-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 10 & 11 This addresses several issues in the Saleslogix sync client & Japanese character sets.

18-09-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 9 This addresses several issues in the Saleslogix client.

18-09-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 8 This addresses several issues in the Web client with Query Builder and exporting to Excel.

See hot-fix document for more details. NB: Now contains defect 1-64450 to fix an issue with certain columns added to web group.

18-09-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 7 This corrects an issue with the Manage Templates view when using multi-byte language and a dictionary file (MLD) is present.

24-02-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 6 Addresses an issue in the Saleslogix client where a file or e-mail dragged to the Contact or Opportunity Attachment tab does not appear in the Account Attachment tab. See hot-fix document for more details.

20-10-2008 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 4 This corrects an issue with SpeedSearch and the results displayed.

20-03-2007 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 3 Addresses a Web Client issue in which a history record is not created when sending an e-mail via Send SLX in some instances.

06-03-2007 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 2 Addresses an issue where Word crashes when using the Send to Mail Receipt (as Attachment) option with Saleslogix version 6.2.6. Hot Fix 2 also includes an updated SLMailClient.exe (for build 6.2.6.1007) which is compatible with the Microsoft Time Zone Patch. See hot-fix document for more details.

12-02-2007 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Hot-Fix 1 Fixes an issue with the PEND mechanism for Sync Server/Sync Client. See hot-fix document for more details.


22-01-2007 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP6 Service Pack 6 for Saleslogix 6.2 (6.2.6) was released on 22nd January 2007. This Service Pack replaces ALL previous service packs and hot-fixes for 6.2. Please consult the fixed issues list and  release notes for more information. Additionally, this fixes the previous issues with Daylight Savings Time (DST) that required a registry fix.
02-11-2006 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP5 Service Pack 5 for Saleslogix 6.2 (6.2.5) was released on 2nd November 2006. This Service Pack replaces ALL previous service packs and hot-fixes for 6.2. Please consult the fixed issues list and  release notes for more information.
06-04-2006 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP4 Service Pack 4 for Saleslogix 6.2 (6.2.4) was released on 6th April 2006. This Service Pack replaces ALL previous service packs and hot-fixes for 6.2. Please consult the fixed issues list and  release notes for more information.
07-11-2005 — Saleslogix 6.2 SP3 Service Pack 3 for Saleslogix 6.2 (6.2.3) was released on 7th November 2005. This Service Pack replaces ALL previous hot-fixes for 6.2.2 and contains a major performance improvement for group handling. Please consult the release notes for more information.
